Sprayed Concrete Association

Formed in 1976, The Sprayed Concrete Association's objectives are:

  • to promote and develop the practice of sprayed concrete

  • to produce and maintain specification and codes of practice

  • to educate and train in the use and techniques of sprayed concrete

  • to promote discussions and technical exchange of information to advance the technology of sprayed concrete

Recognising that the quality of sprayed concrete and its reputation is dependent on the operatives in the field, the Association has, in conjunction with CITB, introduced a formal training and certification scheme for operatives, which is now operated independently by CITB. Thus the practical skill of the nozzleman is assured.

As full members of the SCA, Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) has demonstrated its financial stability and technical ability, provided a proven track record in sprayed concrete and employ certificated nozzlemen.
