CRL Roofing - Liquid Applied Roof Membranes

Welcome to CRL Roofing

CRL Roofing is able to provide a service to waterproof existing and new flat roofs using liquid applied membranes.

Traditional torched on felts and hot asphalt are a fire hazard to building owners so the use of liquid applied membranes is often used to eliminate these risks and provide a much more durable and effective solution.

There are a variety of liquid applied systems on the market but CRL Roofing generally uses either a hot sprayed Polyurethane or a cold applied Methyl Methacrylate. These are two part systems which can be over coated with a wearing coat incorporating a kiln dried quartz sand for slip resistance. Also a topcoat can be used to provide a decorative finish and delineate service and walkway zones.

There are major benefits with this type of roof membrane:

  • Lightweight
  • Can be applied over existing membranes
  • Seamless
  • Chemical bond to substrate
  • Coloured finishes
  • Ease of application around services & vents
  • Speed of installation
  • Moisture tolerant during application
  • Durable
CRL Roofing is an approved contractor for all the leading membrane suppliers and is able to survey existing roofs and recommend the optimal material for the situation.
