'Concept to reality' is the title of a new corporate brochure just published by Mitcham based specialist contractor Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL). The publication is a very unusual concept in brochure design and fully lives up to its title.

CRL is renowned for its breadth of engineering and construction refurbishment achievements and the brochure describes each of the concrete repair disciplines in which the company specialises.

The liberally illustrated 24-page publication provides background information on the company, together with its partnering, research and development, training, quality, safety and environmental philosophies. The primary contacts within the organisation and the six regional offices are also listed.

The brochure describes the company's important surveying, diagnosis and problem evaluation services and a separate section is allocated to each of structural type that are able to benefit from the company's expertise. These include power stations, marine structures, car parks, hospital and educational buildings, bridges and tunnels, etc. Many completed projects are referred to and illustrated, some showing work being carried out at intermediary stages.

The company is also at the leading edge of carbon fibre and other composite strengthening techniques and in addition specialises in corrosion prevention for reinforced concrete structures. Both areas of expertise are highlighted and a number of projects reflecting both types of work are referred to.
