Ken Dykes, well known throughout the structural repair and refurbishment sectors of the construction industry has joined specialist main contractor Concrete Repairs Ltd (CRL) as Senior Business Development Manager for northern England. He will be based at the Company’s Sheffield office.

Ken has been involved with the construction industry for 38 years, the latter 24 of which have been in the specialist sectors of concrete repair, corrosion prevention and strengthening of bridges, tunnels, car parks, marine structures and buildings.

John Drewett, CRL’s Marketing Director, commented "Ken Dykes appointment is a significant contribution to the continuing development of CRL. He brings a wealth of practical and technical experience, which will benefit both the Company and clients alike".

Ken is a member of the Concrete Society, the Institute of Corrosion and an Associate member of the Institute of Highways and Transportation. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Sprayed Concrete Association (SCA) and an Executive Committee member of the Corrosion Prevention Association (CPA). He is also an active member of numerous construction related technical committees and working parties, including the Concrete Society TR55 Committee on Structural Strengthening using composite materials and a regular contributor to the lecture/seminar circuit.
