After providing professional refurbishment contracting services throughout the UK for more than 50 years, specialist main contractor Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) has formed a new division, to be known as CRL Facades, specifically to manage and develop the company’s external render and cladding business.

To assist in the launch of CRL Facades, the company has also produced a new brochure describing its professional services and its ability to supply and install a range of finishes, for both new build schemes and refurbishment projects.

Primary services encompass impartial early guidance on façade finishes, advice on thermal efficiencies, supply and installation of external wall insulation systems (EWI), façade finishes and rainscreen cladding. Because of its considerable experience, however, the company is also able to provide associated refurbishment works such as concrete inspection and repair, brickwork repairs, window renewal, specialist protective coatings and roofing repairs.

CRL Facades is also able to assist with advice in meeting the energy performance and reduced carbon dioxide emission aims set out in the revised Part L of the Building Regulations and the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).

The company has the in house skills to manage and install a variety of finishes, either in the capacity of specialist sub contractor, or as main contractor. It provides a nationwide service, via a network of regional offices located throughout the UK, is a full member of the Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) and an approved contractor for many of the leading façade material suppliers.
