Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) has a vacancy for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. CRL specialises in the repair, rehabilitation and refurbishment of reinforced concrete structures and buildings. Reporting to the Regional Manager/Contracts Management.
Experience in quantity surveying is required, and knowledge of NEC form of contract is desired, but not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to sites within the West Midlands and Birmingham area. A company car or car allowance will be provided. Contracts Managers - Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL)
Works region: Falkirk
Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) specialises in the repair, rehabilitation and refurbishment of reinforced concrete structures and buildings. We undertake projects in the role of main contractor and specialist sub-contractor. Our specialist work also includes structural strengthening using carbon fibre and corrosion control using cathodic protection.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, job experience and a thorough knowledge of the concrete repair industry will be essential requirements. Duties will include compiling Method Statements, Quality Plans, Risk Assessments and Contract Programmes, producing monthly contract appraisals, and overseeing and ensuring quality of workmanship meets standard conditions of contract including JCT. ICE & ECC.
The Company also offers a training programme to become chartered with the ICE.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, knowledge in concrete repair work and CP is essential. Midland links contract and water treatment contracts knowledge would be an advantage.
Applicants must be willing to travel to all areas covered by the Regional Office.
The work is varied and challenging and will suit candidates who have the ability and desire to work independently, managing all aspects of the project.

Contracts Engineers - Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL)

We undertake projects in the role of main contractor and specialist sub-contractor. Reporting to the Contacts Manager, duties will include assisting with the day to day running of projects. If workload changes, the successful applicant will also be required to assist with the production of estimates/quotations, the production of method statements and risk assessments. Knowledge in dealing with engineers, architects, site operatives and subcontractors is desirable. Good IT skills, with use of Word and Excel etc, will be necessary.

Survey Technicians Required - Building and Construction Pathology
CRL Surveys requires Technicians of all grades and levels of experience to work nationally from their Offices in Mitcham (Surrey), Chesterfield, Bristol and Falkirk.
The Company undertakes structural investigations under the following general headings; Condition Assessments; Corrosion investigations; Structural detailing investigations; Special investigations of post-tensioned bridges and tanks, pre-stressed, preload tanks, fixings and ties; Load testing, Fire and other accidental damage assessments.
Candidates from a range of technical backgrounds will be considered. Those exhibiting an enquiring open mind, a willingness to travel and learn and an ability to work thoroughly and methodically to tight deadlines, may have an advantage. Of special interest, but not essential, are candidates with experience of constructions materials testing and working at height, particularly with abseiling certification.
