Job Vacancy - Assistant Quantity Surveyor - based in Chesterfield
Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) has a vacancy for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. CRL specialises in the repair, rehabilitation and refurbishment of reinforced concrete structures and buildings. Reporting to the Regional Manager/Contracts Management.
Experience in quantity surveying is required, and knowledge of NEC form of contract is desired, but not essential.

Job Vacancies - Contracts Managers - Works region: Falkirk
Reporting to the Regional Manager, job experience and a thorough knowledge of the concrete repair industry will be essential requirements. Duties will include compiling Method Statements, Quality Plans, Risk Assessments and Contract Programmes, producing monthly contract appraisals, and overseeing and ensuring quality of workmanship meets standard conditions of contract including JCT. ICE & ECC.
Job Vacancy - Site Manager - Works regions: Falkirk / Chesterfield
Reporting to the Regional Manager, knowledge in concrete repair work and CP is essential. Midland links contract and water treatment contracts knowledge would be an advantage.
Job Vacancies - Contracts Engineers - Works regions: Falkirk / Chesterfield
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, duties will include assisting with the day to day running of projects. If workload changes, the successful applicant will also be required to assist with the production of estimates/quotations, the production of method statements and risk assessments. Knowledge in dealing with engineers, architects, site operatives and subcontractors is desirable. Good IT skills, with use of Word and Excel etc, will be necessary.

In order to meet new legislation for both potable water and waste water treatment, the UK water industry is currently investing record sums. The fourth asset management programme (AMP4), for the period 2005-2010, is currently underway with the emphasis on maintaining and renewing the industry’s infrastructure. OFWAT has approved a 5-year investment programme, totalling £17bn, by the ten major English and Welsh water companies and further finance is earmarked for projects in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
